Compact, versatile and custom-designed

This Opel Vivaro L2H2 demonstrates everything that can be achieved with a well-executed custom camper conversion. A project designed to maintain the compact dimensions and ease of driving of a mid-size van, while creating a practical interior ready for travel.

The layout is organized around a custom-designed and manufactured side unit and a 2-seater sofa bed, creating a multi-purpose space that allows the day area to be quickly transformed into a rest area.

A compact and functional camper conversion, designed to take advantage of every centimeter of the Opel Vivaro without sacrificing the equipment needed to enjoy getaways and trips with autonomy.

Main features of camper conversion

Parking and rest areas:


Configured for 4 travel seats, it incorporates a bed and 2 additional seats, installed on a raised floor. This solution allows the same space to be used as a travel area, lounge, and bed.

The front seats have swivel bases for the driver and passenger, integrating into the seating area when the vehicle is parked.


Furniture and layout:

The interior has been designed around a custom-made side unit, seeking to make the most of the available space in a compact van.

This layout allows for a good passageway and provides perfectly integrated storage, sink, refrigerator and facilities, creating a simple, practical and versatile interior.


Ventilation and natural light:

Equipped with a Dometic Micro Heki 280 × 280 mm skylight, which incorporates a blackout blind and mosquito net, promoting air renewal and ventilation of the cabin.


Air conditioning:

It features Autoterm 2 kW stationary heating with Comfort Control digital control, providing a comfortable temperature inside during the coldest months.


Water installation:

It has a 44-liter clean water tank and a 36-liter grey water tank, as well as a Shurflo 10 L/min pressure pump, a Fiamma expansion vessel and an external connection for filling the tank.

It also includes an RK Reich cold water outdoor shower, with hose and tap, ideal for having an additional water point during trips.


Kitchen and refrigerator:

The kitchen area incorporates a Dometic SNG 4237 sink with a glass lid and a Florenz cold water tap.

For food preservation, it has a Dometic NRX50C compressor refrigerator, integrated into the side cabinetry.


Electrical installation:

Equipped with CBE PC180 control unit, 12V socket and double USB socket to control and use the main electrical services of the camper.

It also has a Victron MultiPlus inverter charger that combines an inverter and battery charger, along with a complete 230V indoor and outdoor installation via DEFA socket.


Solar energy:

The solar installation features a 140W Victron rigid panel and a Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 regulator, helping to keep the auxiliary battery charged during trips and increasing the vehicle's energy autonomy.
